Until today, not many of you know where Greenfield stands on. Those who don’t frequent Ortigas may only be familiar with giant malls within the area like Mega Mall, Shangri-la and Robinsons. But for those who recall the old marketplace near Shangri-la, where jeeps used to park, you’ll be surprised how the old market was transformed into a new piece of land, a greener pasteur. Now that place is Greenfield District. Evolved from a ‘not so noticeable’ district, Greenfield is becoming the new hangout spot for employees working within the Ortigas area.
If you’ve been following my earlier posts about Greenfield Food Crawl, we are already on our 3rd restaurant stop.

Brazil Brazil!

My memories of Brazil Brazil could be traced when they still had a branch at Metrowalk. Meat-all-you-can like a king was the theme of Brazil Brazil’s fierce ambiance during lunch or dinner. From my comeback to Brazil Brazil, its newest branch in Greenfield, I discovered the alterations on their menu. Gone are the days when meat was free-flowing, unlimited until we gave up. The management decided to switch from buffet to a la carte.
Brazilian Pork Belly BBQ Meal (Php 195)
Rate: 3/5
Churrasco BBQ meals like this Brazilian Pork Belly Meal are still intact on the menu. From first look, I would think their barbecued meat stayed the same. I cut a small portion for myself and was semi-disappointed with its dense and dry texture. Although it didn’t go wrong with its flavor. Unfortunately, the experience of chewing its dry meat weakens the dish itself.
Crispy Beef Fillet (Php 218)
Rate: 4/5
While staring at this Crispy Beef Fillet now, I’m creeped out thinking they’re worms crawling on the plate. Haha! Seriously, I loved the crisp and crunch together with its sweet and sour sauce. It’s just… Wait a minute, I’m in a Brazilian restaurant right? I just felt I was transported to a Chinese restaurant with this sweet & sour beef.
Beef Brisket with Marbled Potato (Php 228)
Rate: 2/5
Low impact on my attraction meter, sad to say. I don’t think this is the best they can offer. Beef Brisket with Marbled Potato didn’t steal my attention away from my phone.

Ramen Bar

From Brazil Brazil, we moved on to our next stop, Ramen Bar. A very familiar neighborhood ramen house, which I already blogged months ago.
Ebi Buns (Php 220)
Rate: 4/5
It’s always a good idea to start with Ramen Bar’s soft and cushiony buns before rushing to a super bowl of ramen. Assembled like mini shrimp pancakes, Ebi Buns had a more Japanese tone with its wasabi mayo dressing.
Bikkuri Ramen (Php 380)
Rate: 4/5
Miso-based ramen with minced pork, chili, negi, naruto and aji tamago. I digged in the spicy miso broth, properly balanced with minced pork. A pleasing option on the menu for the spicy hunters.

Seafood Ramen (Php 380)
Rate: 4/5
Shio-based ramen, salty yet traditional ramen broth, lightened up my palate from a spicy miso broth earlier. A well-balanced type of ramen especially with seafood mixed with its soup.
I’ll give you the option to go back to my previous post about Ramen Bar in case you wanna learn more on what they offer.
Oh, and don’t lose me. I still have to introduce you to more restaurants along The Hub at Greenfield District.
