This September, style is the keyword for Oakwood Premier Hotel.
Let’s get straight to the point. Oakwood graces you with style as you stay, wine and dine this month for only Php 8,888 net.
Wait, wait, wait. Do you think the amount is too much? For an overnight stay of that magical Php 8,888 net, you get a package of one-bedroom suite, a choice of artfully garnished and exquisitely prepared char grilled dishes from Oakroom and compete the sophistication with a glass of house wine. If you think a one-bedroom suite is quite tight, get a two-bedroom suite for only Php 12,888.
To give you a picture of what it’s really worth, let me give you a quick tour around one of their suites, the three-bedroom suite.
The suite was converted into a mini private dining room when I dined in for dinner with fellow media friends. O and I arrived a little earlier than we expected. The Ortigas traffic during weeknights could harm the temper in a way. So O and I expected to be late. Fortunately, the traffic was kind enough to take us to Oakwood on time. Since we arrived before the dinner actually started, O and I had a short time to gaze around the three-bedroom suite and for my readers’ sake (yes you!), take photos to show you guys.

Stay:

I went straight to the master’s bedroom when I heard of the in-shower steam bath. Like most girls I know, the first thing our eyes look for is the bathroom. The importance of inspecting a bathroom whenever in a strange new place is innate in most women I know. But before proceeding inside the bathroom, I had to pause looking around the master’s bedroom. The modern touch with wooden furniture and sophistication of details made me stop.
Back on track, I inspected the bathroom and loved every corner of it.

The in-shower steam bath suits my taste. For me, it looks to be the best part of the bathroom.
Beside the master’s bedroom, I took a left turn to the room with 2 single beds for the singles.
Like a home away from your real home, you can enjoy home-cooking using the spacious kitchen room of your suite of any size.
Another convenient part of the room is the laundry room. Get rid of your dirty clothes and clean them up using their easy-to-use washing and drying machine.
Amenities of the Stay, Wine & Dine room promo include free internet access, use of gym facilities, kids’ play area, heated pool and 25% discount on buffet breakfast at the Oakroom.

Wine and Dine:

Back to back with staying inside Oakwood’s premiere suits is a complementary three-course meal.
Fine cold cuts were being offered before the course started.
Soup of the Day – Shrimp Bisque
More like a Shrimp paste soup with rich yet gentle seafood flavors, topped with croutons for added crunchy texture.

Surf and Turf
For the main entree, you can choose among the 3 dishes – Surf and Turf, US Striploin and Norwegian Salmon. O wanted the best of both worlds, a plate of Surf and Turf, which includes char grilled beef tenderloin and jumbo prawns on top of creamy and firm truffle mashed potatoes.
Norwegian Salmon
As for me, longing for Salmon at that point resulted to my choice of Norwegian Salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes. Similar to how other dishes were prepared, char grilled salmon with truffle mashed potatoes and sautéed spring vegetables with maitre d’ butter.
New Zealand Ice Cream with Hot Chocolate Sauce
Clearly, the name describes the dessert presented to us. The sophistication of pouring out the chocolate sauce was a wonderful sight to capture.
A glass of New Zealand ice cream in style gave us pleasure to our taste and sight.
