Did you know that according to a survey by the National Pasta Association, 77% of Americans surveyed eat pasta at least once a week, and 1/3 eat pasta 3 or more times a week? (FoodReference.com)] I don’t know about the Filipinos but if every Italian restaurant would have a promo like Paul Calvin’s Deli, I assume all of us could switch to being pasta lovers.
Imagine this, for only PHP299, you can already enjoy different pasta recipes prepared by the talented and friendly chef of Paul Calvin’s. That’s why when we found out about the promo, my office-mates and I were animated to give in and use some cash in our wallets. One evening after work, all of us rode in my car, and went to Fort where Paul Calvin’s is located.

In Paul Calvin’s, you have the option to select how your pasta will be cooked. The ingredients and sauces are laid on the chef’s table. This means, you are free to create what kind of pasta you want.

For those who aren’t sure of what to get, their guide or short pasta buffet ‘menu’ could help you out for your orders. If you ask me, I based my orders on this ‘menu’.

Check out the pasta dishes I tried:
Pesto Pasta
Aglio Olio Pasta

Gambaretti

Carbonara

Complimentary pizza bread. This was my addiction for that night. The pasta dishes were delish yet I was more hooked into eating the hot, soft and tasty pizza bread.

There was a complimentary mushroom soup, which was served while waiting for the pasta to be finished.

At first, I thought they just had a normal bread and pastry stand. But when I looked closely, here are some of what they sell:

Calabaza cake! How interesting right?

I bought 1 pack of their Malunggay Choco Cookies (Php 100)! It was fudgy and chocolatey. Oh so yummy and healthy!

Before we left, they served us a complimentary dessert. Soft and fluffy Ube Cake.

Check out our happy faces! Paul Calvin’s gave us a good deal and a great service.

Pray, Eat and Love.
Cheers,
