You are not a Filipino if you are not attracted to Adobo.
Who would say no to the smell of chicken with soy sauce and vinegar plus some spices? It’s actually called to be the national dish of Filipinos. For my international readers, Adobo is the recipe Filipinos are proud of. In almost every Filipino home you enter, Adobo is a favorite. And that’s what Adobo Republic is all about, it is a fast-food restaurant that specializes on anything Adobo.

In Adobo Republic, they serve all kinds of Adobo: Pork Adobo, Chicken Adobo, Liver Adobo, Squid Adobo, Mixed Adobo, and more. Other than those, they also have sizzling dishes lik Pork or Bangus Sisig, Pork or Beef Steak, Beef Kaldereta, etc.

I chose to order their best seller, which is their Adobo Chicken

One thing I like about their Adobo is their Itlog Maalat or Salted Egg. It matched the soy sauce taste of the chicken Adobo. Their Salted Egg was the kind of Salted Egg I was looking for, moistened.

However, I think it would work out better if the rice was Garlic Rice than Adobo rice. For some of you, you might prefer adobo rice. I guess I just had enough of Adobo flavor in my mouth. Hehe 🙂

For a hungry person, you would like their customer service. They wouldn’t let you wait for more than 10 minutes. In about 5 minutes, our dishes were served right on the table.

The color and the place, similar to the ambiance of Jollibee.

If you are running out of time to shop for your cravings, you can just head to Adobo Republic and have a plate of your choice of Adobo dish. But if you ask me, the best Adobo dish is still the homemade one! 🙂
