The hotel where we stayed was just near Cafe De Lipa. For a Batangas ‘foreigner’, it was the most convenient place to go when we feel our stomach asking for food. From the hotel, we would just need to walk for about 2 minutes. No need to cross the street. Right there, literally beside our hotel.

Cafe de Lipa at night. No, we didn’t go there for dinner. We just felt like trying the restaurant since we were already there in Batangas. Plus, it was tempting to visit such a place, knowing it was located beside our hotel.

We had to try their Mango Sansrival because according to the waitress, it was their best seller.
There was nothing extraordinary in the sansrival, only the part where it had mango bits. My sister, who adores ripe mango, liked the sweetness of the cake. For me, I liked the blend of the ripe mango and the crisp of the sansrival. The cake didn’t taste too sweet. You could say that the sweetness level is only 50%. People who don’t have sweet tooth would dig their sansrival.
Since I know how to make Blueberry Cheesecake (my specialty), I am very critical in every cheesecake I taste. So far, I still believe mine’s the best! Hahaha! KIDDING! Seriously speaking, this Blueberry cheesecake was just a mediocre. After a day of eating, it’s the kind of food you would instantly forget. The cake didn’t leave a mark to my taste buds.
Looked like the local ‘Starbucks’ of Batangas.
