Aside from discovering restaurants, discovering (scouting) for new products is also part of my journey. You’ve seen here in my blog that most of my posts are about restaurants and their specialties. Now, let me take you to a different road as I introduce to you my new ‘gourmet’ discovery, The Fruit Garden, home made jams.
 Facts about The Fruit Garden:
ALL Natural – no additives, no preservatives
Minimized sugar level
Once jam is opened, it lasts for about 6 months
local fruits, but authentic French recipes
For those who are health conscious, or on a diet, you shouldn’t worry about trying these jams. I know they are sweet but as mentioned earlier, the sugar level is minimized.
When you hear the word ‘jams’, what do you think of? I don’t know if we’re the same in this mentality but each time I hear ‘jams’, I automatically think of breakfast food. Somehow like toasted bread + orange juice + butter + fruity jams. On a different note, I found out recently that these jams are not your usual jams. You can also use these jams for the following:
 1) These jams are always great with plain yogurt.
2) If you try to bake a cake, you can cut the cake in half in its length, then spread a layer of Strawberry jam (or jams of your choice) to add more flavor to your dessert.
3) Mango Spices with blue cheese
4) Try Mango Chocolate jam on top of a Brazo de Mercedes cake
5) Another recipe for these jams is adding it to your cup of tea. Use the honey (photo below) for sweetener instead of sugar, together with scone, cream and Mango or Strawberry jam.
Taste wise? Each flavor is uniquely delicious. While I was tasting one bottle of jam, I couldn’t wait to open another. Plus, the bottles are so cute and colorful. I love them! 🙂
You don’t need to go to France or spend excessively to get such gourmet luxury jams. One box, with your 6 choice of flavors costs PHP350 only. Elegant looking and affordable! By the way, this box is great for gifts too.
The flavors of Fruit Garden are eccentric yet flavorful. Here are some of them:
Mango Collection: Mango, Mango Chocoalate, Mango Spices, Mango Vanilla, Mango GInger, Mango Lavander, Mango Lime
Pineapple Collection: Pineapple Coco Rhum (Best seller), Pineapple Mango
Orange Collection: Dalandan, Orange Marmalade
