It doesn’t mean that Christmas season is over, gatherings are over. From time to time, it’s good to catch up with old friends, any time of the year. With the busy month of December, plus traffic in all streets of Manila, plans sometimes don’t push through. If you’re looking for a way to elevate your dinner with friends or maybe prepare something special for your loved one this coming Valentine’s, head to the grocery and look into California Cheeses.

The California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) has brought in even more varieties of cheese to our local market. California is the largest farming state and leading milk producer in the US, leading the nation in the production of fluid milk, butter, ice cream and non-fat dry milk. In fact, California Cheese is the largest and fastest growing category among all the state’s milk and milk product categories. The state has been producing cheese for as long as it has been making wine, which is more than 200 years and is the 2nd largest cheese and yogurt maker in the US.
All you need for your next gathering is your choice of California Cheeses and a bottle of wine – bottles of wine rather. Slice those blocks of cheese then serve on a wooden platter. Instant sophisticated appetizer while chitchatting with your circle of friends. If you’re thinking about preparing for your date, add a stem of rose to add a touch of romance.
I’m not gonna resist cheese. Whenever there is a buffet, the cheese station is one of the important stations I must visit. My personal cheese favorites are brie, mascarpone, manchego, monterey jack and mozzarella, especially mozzarella sticks!
Here are some of the California Cheese flavors I discovered and loved:
California Colby Jack Cheese
The flavor of California Colby Jack Cheese is mild to medium sharp. It is a blend of Colby and Jack usually used for eating as a snack and with sandwiches.
California Pepper Jack Cheese
Quick to be loved by pepper lovers, this California Pepper Jack Cheese is infused with spicy chili peppers, different kinds of peppers and herbs.
Monterey Jack Cheese
Monterey Jack Cheese is mild-flavored cheese, a very popular and versatile one. Created in California, I enjoyed snacking on this type of cheese and even adding to my salad bowls.
California Cheese takes pride in their cheeses. Given that, your occasions won’t go wrong with California Cheese brands.
What’s your choice of cheese from California Cheese?
