Are you a big eater? If you are, then this list talks to you.
Inspired by Mikey Bustos’ Big Eater YouTube video, O and I drove to the south, specifically to SM Southmall, to find comfort food for big eaters like us.
It was our first time to visit SM Southmall, which added excitement to scout for meals that will satisfy big eaters.
Finding a parking slot was not tricky and costly. There is an open parking space near the entrance, convenient if you are heading to the foodcourt.
During lunchtime on a weekday, the big eaters at the foodcourt are mostly students and parents. On weekends, the crowd is mixed up with kids and adults, all wanting to consume big yet affordable meals.

1. Chicken Teriyaki & Tempura, Tokyo Joe

When it’s Japanese we’re talking about, I go all out. My heart screams out loud for anything Japanese. If you can relate with me, you might want to consider Tokyo Joe for big Japanese meals. This Chicken Teriyaki & Tempura set is just right for a big eater.

It’s Masskara Festival season and I really miss Bacolod. To cope up with that, I tried out Ted’s Fried Chicken and Batchoy Meal for only P145. Including a cup of rice, I was filled up easily, satisfying my cravings for Bacolod food.

6. Grilled Tuna Belly Meal, Reyes Barbecue

Bulked Grilled Tuna Belly with java rice is one sure choice if you’re after value for your money. You don’t have to sacrifice quality of your food on this. It’s a fact that the taste of grilled tuna was fresh, without the tongue itch.

 7. Lechon + Lechon Sisig Meal, Lydia’s Lechon

Lechon lovers are definite big eaters. If health condition is not an issue, Lechon and Lechon Sisig Meal will bring big smile to your face. Lydia’s Lechon is a proven brand, so you don’t need to worry about the meaty goodness of every lechon piece you get.

 I love tapsilog! Time of day doesn’t matter for a plate of Super Beef Tapsilog I recently discovered in SM Southmall. This Tapsilog is in love with a heart-shaped egg and a cup of garlic rice. Cut in smaller pieces, which brings out the stronger flavors of tapa marinade.

10. Porterhouse, Sizzling Plate

Store: Sizzling Plate
 All meat, the simple happiness of carnivores. Without a doubt, Porterhouse at an affordable price enters my list of comfort meals. I don’t think you’ll be against this if you’re a steak lover and big eater yourself.
