To save me from long hours of preparation in the kitchen, San Marino Premium Spanish Sardines helped me prepare my ‘no sweat’ homemade breakfast recipe called Dirty Spanish Sardine Rice.
3 cups white rice
1pc. cooked egg
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bottle San Marino Premium Spanish Sardines (240g)
1. Cook the rice according to your standards, just make sure you don’t leave it overcooked.
2. While the rice is cooking, open a bottle of San Marino Premium Spanish Sardines. Slice at least 6 pcs of sardines finely.
3. On a separate pan, sauté garlic and onions in San Marino Premium Spanish Sardines’ oil until soft and brown. Next, add cups of cooked white rice and slices of Spanish sardines.
4. Mix everything evenly together for about 5-10 minutes and the dirty rice is ready serve.
5. Don’t forget to add cooked sunny side up egg on top of the dirty rice.
Call it a kitchen cheat or what, I don’t mind. The delicious and flavorful Spanish Sardines did the trick to emphasize the flavors of my Dirty Spanish Sardine Rice. It saves time and use of other condiments to get the taste I want to achieve. I’m not playing advertisement here when I say you could use San Marino Premium Spanish Sardines in spicing your recipe, in your pasta or rice dishes, I could picture a premium result.
