Face it, standing in the middle of a mega mall with a great number of restaurant choices quite confuses. It’s either you stick with your old familiar favorites or hop to foreign new restaurants.
In case you find yourself hungry after shopping your Christmas gifts this season, you might want to take a turn to the new Mega Fashion Hall and give Osaka Ohsho’s new dishes a chance.
Renowned as “King of Gyoza” in Japan, Osaka Ohsho builds more hype to their gyoza with their newest flavors – Bacon & Cheese Gyoza and Peanut Butter & Banana dessert gyoza.

The New Gyoza Flavors:

Straight to the main point of my visit, I held my chopsticks with one hand started to point towards the new savory gyoza flavor.
Bacon & Cheese Gyoza
6pcs. – Php 190
12pcs. – Php 380
Rate: 5/5
Inside the steamed and crispy fried Japanese flour wrap, a family of crunchy honeycured bacon bits and gourmet cheeses celebrates with lean ground pork meat, shredded cabbage garlic and ginger. You won’t doubt for a second to go for a second, a third piece of Bacon & Cheese Gyoza until your plate goes blank.
Peanut Butter & Banana Dessert Gyoza w/ Vanilla Ice Cream (Php 210)

By the time you’re energy flunks from the savory flavors, it’s time to change plate for letting sweetness conquer your appetite. Peanut Butter & Banana Dessert, a unique gyoza flavor of Jif Crunchy Peanut Butter and caramelized bananas, will let you remember mini-crepes served the Japanese way.

Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Dishes:

I would say you have extra room on your table for more EGG-citing Osaka Ohsho delights with the new Fuwatoro Tenshin Han offerings and sets.
Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Curry Cheese Tonkatsu (Php 450)
Rate: 4/5
Scooping in and out the rich curry sauce surrounding my rice and my crispy pork tonkatsu. Buttered up with more melted cheese, it might trouble you to resist. The totality of this Curry Cheese Tonkatsu recipe will affect your holiday diet.
Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Mapo Tofu (Php 380)
Rate: 4/5
Silken Japanese tofu, minced pork, and minced bell peppers all coordinated in a fiery Mapo Tofu sauce. This takes me back to my fondness of Chinese cuisine’s regular mapo tofu with a dash of sweetness and spiciness.

Regular Osaka Ohsho Dishes:

Black Chahan (Php 250)

Osaka Ohsho Salad

Splash of refreshment at any season. Osaka Ohsho Salad created the salad of everything I love in it. Greens with cherry tomatoes, crab sticks, mangoes, candied walnuts, all slightly showered with citrus dressing.
Black Vinegar Chicken (Php 325)

The way out isn’t possible for me without getting my favorite main dish from Osaka Ohsho – Black Vinegar Chicken. I will not lose my interest in having even just a piece before finishing my meal.
