Finally finally finally! I have the time to share with you my Brunei trip after months! Haha! Whew! Luck is beside me. I don’t have deadlines for my personal travel posts. Haha! For those of you who browse through my instagram photos, I’m pretty sure you saw some of my photos around the quiet country of Brunei. So for those of you who still ignores my page on instagram, will you follow me? (with the smile and eyes of Shrek’s Puss in Boots) 😉
Some time during the ber months, I joined my family to a weekend trip to Brunei. My favorite uncle, who pretty much knows the country, became our “tour guide.” First stop from the airport, we drove straight to our majestic hotel, The Empire Hotel & Country Club

Empire Hotel Brunei

We arrived early in the morning that made the beauty of the hotel dim and dark for us to see. Long walk from the parking lot to the room, we washed up and jumped right off to bed.

The bathroom was indeed royal-looking and huge! I can make this my room. All I need is a tiara and you can call me “Banyo Queen.” Haha!
We had a well-rested sleep like a kings and queens. I didn’t want to get up and savor that moment but I gotta dress up for breakfast. Long day ahead of us to tour around Brunei. From our room, we had to ride a golf cart to move to the other building where the restaurant for our breakfast buffet was situated.
The family had breakfast buffet to start the day.

After breakfast, we spent half our day exploring this fine royal hotel.
From the architectural design and interiors of the hotel itself, it speaks so much about its country.
Overwhelming Empire Hotel! I forgot the clock’s hands were ticking while I was stepping into every part of the majestic hotel. We need a hotel like this in the Philippines!
Can you spot me? I look like an ant in this hotel.
We stepped out of the shade and bravely said hello the strong heat of the sun.
Now, we couldn’t decide which side to pick first. To the left? To the right?

We moved to all directions, mostly for photo ops. Hehe. How can we forget capturing the beauty of Empire Hotel? It’s worth every shot!!
Our genuine smiles were captured as we enjoyed every bit of our time at the hotel. We had jump shots taken at that spot but I’d rather not post it because someone here was wearing a dress. Wrong #ootd my dear sister! :p

The hotel exploration snatched the first half of our day. It’s time to go back to our room and get our things. We had to hop and move to the city and see the real Brunei outside The Empire Hotel and Country Club!
