We all have our own simple joys. One of my simple joys is making anything personalized or customized. If you remember reading one of my posts last April, getting a personalized iPhone case from The Diff thrilled me to the bones. Something about getting personalized items that hits the heart, a strike of simple joy in my case.
Last week, I received a special box delivered to my home. Obviously, the famous red and green logo of Krispy Kreme was on it. I opened the box and saw my mantra in life – Eat, Pray & Love. Or in The Food Scout terms, it’s actually Pray, Eat & Love. (I do prioritize Praying first. Hehe.)
The #JoyInABox donuts are too pretty that I don’t want to touch and eat them. The letters and words speak to me, giving me that simple joy I was talking about. When I saw the donuts, I told my sister, “Oh it’s so me!” I’m pretty sure you get that feeling of ownership when you encounter personalized items or simply seeing your name on merchandise items. 🙂 It’s like you wanna buy them!
