Have you ever tried to Eat & Run?

‘Eat & Run’ is not what you think it is. Runtertainment, the team who popularized Outbreak Manila here in the Philippines, introduces their newest running concept called “Eat & Run”. (Although it’s actually running first before you Eat. I guess Eat & Run sounds more catchy than Run & Eat. haha!)

The first time I heard about the concept, I didn’t think twice on supporting this idea. It’s a fun and perfect idea for combining two things I love, food & sports. Imagine, you don’t only Run but you also Eat a hearty meal right after! The last run I joined was last 2011. For me, that’s more like 10 years ago! Oh how I miss running seriously! It’s a wake up call for me and makes me think it’s about time to bring back my running shoes, tie the knot and put it in action.

Foodies, athletes, runners, gamers, adventure-seekers or those who simply want to make life more fun, I believe this activity is for You! It’s simply about bonding through food and sports with your friends.

Mechanics:

First, gather your friends and form a team of 3. If I were you, choose your athletic foodie friends because this will be a relay of running 2km. The first runner (Player A) will run 2km, and when the person reaches the finish line, he should eat and finish a hearty meal. Once consumed, Player A will tag the second runner (Player B), repeats the process until all 3 of you are done. The fastest group will be declared as the winner.
