Watching my favored basketball team win the game takes me to the winning side as well. From the point of view of a person who is part of the audience, the screaming and cheering paid off. At the same time, it confirms myself that I made the right choice. The proud feeling is there even though I am not in reality part of the team.
D’ Amburger started at one small stall located in Banchetto, Ortigas more than a year ago. The first time I tried their burgers or their famous Juicy Lucy Burger, I already knew that their burgers have the potential to be known. The quality of burgers I’ve tasted in the past gave me the gut feel that I should cheer and support their brand. Hence, I affirm that I’m not wrong. This team I am supporting is one team you should support too.
May 16, 2012 made history for this business. I am proud to announce that D’ Amburger Gastrolounge was successfully opened to serve their Banchetto customers like me in a more comfortable venue as we eat comfort food including Juicy Lucy and more…
D’ Amburger makes sure that their loyal customers enjoy prepared flamed grilled burgers made of 100% Brazilian beef. According to the chef, all their dishes are MSG-free and Extenders-free. Hearing that as a customer, it gives me confidence that foods I am eating in D’ Amburger are in good hands.
Pizza Burger (Php 350)
Rate: 4/5
Allan, one of the owners, asked me to pick my order from the menu. It took me minutes to pick on what to try first because I was overwhelmed with all the good food on the menu. I wanted to get the classic Juicy Lucy but at the same time I also wanted something different for me to experience. Upon seeing Pizza Burger, I had thoughts that it might be too crazy for me to eat. Well, I chose to be crazy. Took the risk of absorbing thousands of calories just to try their Pizza Burger that is packed with Juicy Lucy patty in between two thick breaded mozzarella as buns.
This crazy burger made my mouth water the minute it was served to us. The texture of their burgers improved from the last time I tasted Juicy Lucy. It wasn’t difficult to slice and chew given that it’s 100% Brazilian beef. Cheese overflowing inside the burger patty was too good to capture on camera. It’s definitely the burger of the hungry and the foodie.
Crab Meat Mac n Cheese (Php 380)
Rate: 4/5
I had doubts that they used real crab meat for the pasta. During my 3rd spoon, I was proven wrong. I tasted something hard while chewing. I checked it and found that I was chewing a tiny crab shell. 😐 Thank goodness I didn’t swallow and digested that right away. I had more than 3 spoons and so far no more crab shells on my pasta anymore. Ziti, or large and long macaroni, was used as noodles. The creamy crab roe sauce got me to ignore the crab shell I tasted. Their pasta can add comfort to your pasta and seafood cravings.
Juicy Lucy BMM (Php 250)
Rate: 4/5
Juicy Lucy BMM (Php 250) – D’ Amburger’s version of Bacon Mushroom Melt. Half-pound burger patty that’s stuffed with cheese inside is also stuffed together with bacon and mushroom. To top it all, cheese dressing all over the juicy burger patty.
Steamed Mussels and Clams in Creamy Blue Cheese Sauce (Php 315)
Rate: 4/5
Immensely creamy bleu cheese overpowering other flavors if you don’t mix it well. The fries are meant to be on top, not to be soaked in bleu cheese. Better to eat fries while it’s still hot and fresh as you dip it in the bowl of bleu cheese. On the other hand, clams and mussels are better when soaked or placed with its bleu cheese sauce. A replacement of baking mussels and clams with cheese on top of them.
Cali Hotdog (Php 130)
Rate: 3/5
Fried hotdog with asian slaw, mango and crabstick. If Japanese restaurants have California Maki, D’ Amburger serves you their Cali Hotdog. I recommend it as a good merienda treat for yourself.
Truffle Popcorn (Php 170)
Rate: 3/5
Almost anything with truffle magically turns it to a one delicious dish. This snack won as the kid’s choice award last time I had it during the Ribbon Cutting of D’ Amburger. Kids of Vice Mayor Francis Zamora and Cindy Ejercito loves the popcorn too much.
The ribbon cutting ceremony with Vice Mayor Francis Zamora and Cindy Ejercito, wife of Cong. JV Ejercito.

D’ Amburger team with 2 VIPs of the night.

Enjoyed dinner over conversations with them.
No, those 2 cute boys aren’t related. Simply friends who didn’t plan their collared shirts for the dinner.
My playmate at the grand opening who played with his iPad more than me 🙁 Oh kids nowadays! Haha!
The place is not child friendly after 9pm. The lights turn dim and converts itself to a pub. They serve alcoholic drinks like cocktails, local and imported beers for the grown ups.
D’ Amburger Gastropub is one good reason to visit Greenhills Town Center. Pls. don’t imagine Alabang Town Center because it’s way too far from how it looks. Haha! See for yourself. Another destination for foodies to get a taste of dishes I mentioned like Juicy Lucy burgers! 🙂

Pray, Eat and Love.
