Entertainment in a different level, I must say. Fuerza Bruta is such a phenomenal show that I couldn’t stop raving about!
Fuerza Bruta or “brute force” is founded by Diqui James, Gaby Kerpel, Alejandro Garcia, Agustina James and Fabio Daquila, also some of the brains behind the international hit De La Guardia.
As I entered Manila Hotel tent, I thought I was in a club. A lounge with house music, serving cocktails and hard drinks, welcomed me and my friend Nicole. We arrived 10 minutes before the actual show. We didn’t avail any of the free drinks because we wanted to enjoy the show without the intake of any alcoholic drink. It was better that way.

After 10 minutes, everyone was asked to go to the other side of the tent, at the back of the lounge. “No seats?!”, the reaction I had. Yes, there weren’t any seats inside the tent. Thank God I was wearing comfortable wedges! To cut to the chase, here are snapshots of what Fuerza Bruta is all about.
Before this man came out, the DJ brought the room on fire with his club playlist. Glad I brought Nicole instead of my sister. I know my 13-year old sister won’t appreciate party music yet. Then as soon as the party music stopped, this man in the gigantic treadmill gave us chills.
Walk, run, walk, run, run, run and run like someone’s chasing him. That was a tough thing to do!
Kudos to this guy! His emotions, especially during the gunshot, made me believe it was real. Oh that gunshot, I literally shouted out of shock.
Incredible motion, emotion, music and colors.

3… Boom!
These performers went down the platform and danced with us, the audience. I love how interactive the show was! You don’t just watch them but you actually get the chance to be on stage with them. Nobody’s a shy kid in here. Everyone’s encouraged to scream their lungs out, dance like there’s no tomorrow and groove to the dynamic music they provide.
And the most exciting and best part for me was this…
the part where we were asked to go under a huge foil.
After taking off that foil, they unleashed these girls playing with water on top of us.
While the girls were sliding, gliding and dancing on water, the plastic glass above us, where they were on it, was going down on top of our heads gently. I was covering my camera using my scarf when Nicole warned that we might get wet.
A heart-shaped piece of artsy shot.

That’s how close we were, I could reach and touch the glass above me!
Bravo! Solid fantastic entertainment!
By the way, that was the only part where you could get wet. The performers were pulling me to that area near the DJ. After a sudden, the water showered everyone there, wearing their cocktail dresses and polos. Good job to me, I made the right decision not to go with the flow. Or else…. Goodbye Canon 60 D. 😐
The music was insane! My head and shoulders couldn’t stop moving and dancing to the beat. Actually, everything was unbelievably awesome! Priceless memories made in just an hour of spectacular show.
Thank you so much Star World Philippines for allowing me to experience Fuerza Bruta
Pray, Eat and Love.
