To the person who makes my tea every night, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
It’s Ate Josie’s (our yaya) birthday! And because of her loyalty, kindness, and service, we treated her out to Seafood Island.
Ate Josie with a pout! Hahaha! She is one of the nicest yayas ever. Every occasion, she gives us gifts. I remember her giving me a planner because she knows how much I love to use planners. 🙂
We are a family who loves crabs! So we wanted to share that love by ordering Szechuan Crab for Ate Josie. Pork Sisig was also a request from Ate Josie. When we asked her to choose from the menu, she immediately answered “sisig!”.
If you ask me, the crab’s taste was so-so, mediocre. I know there are more delicious crab recipes than that. Not a memorable dish for me. But then, it wasn’t my day, it was Ate Josie’s. For her, she loved the dishes, especially the crabs! Like any other restaurants, there is no standard price for crabs. The price depends on its weight.
 Ate Josie loves Iced Tea!
She was surprised that the waiters brought out the cake matching with a special birthday song.
Sneaked out for a little while and bought this Chocolate Mousse cake from Dulcinea. The cake that fit my budget yet delicioso! The moist texture mattered, which made this cake appealing to everyone.
The colorful lanterns of Eastwood Mall brightened up the celebration for our yaya’s birthday.

Have a colorful week foodies!
