One Wednesday evening, OpenRice.com set a date to meet up with some foodies and bloggers. Privileged to be invited and join their mini food trip held at Angel’s (Pizza, Pasta, Combo)
Arrived on the dot, 6 in the evening, which appeared to be a bit early. In short, Filipino time was observed. So while waiting, had a the chance to meet new people and talk about our favorite topic, food. 🙂 I honestly love going to gatherings or events because of my passion in meeting different kinds of people. It’s like each time I get to know a new person, my heart rejoices and gives me energy. I also didn’t feel the long wait for the food due to the amusing stories I heard from the people there.

Since Angel’s had a small space, we occupied a big portion of the restaurant. Good thing they have seats outside to also accommodate other customers.
Had the chance to sneak and peek on how they prepared our pizzas. Angel’s claim : Original hand tossed pizzas.
Cheesy Melt (Php 599), a 14-inch pizza, entered my hungry stomach first. I thought it was just plain cheese pizza until I grabbed a slice and found out it wasn’t just an ordinary cheesy pizza…
It looked like this, pepperoni in between two thin crusts! Good start for my first bite. Love it when pizzas are served steaming hot. Especially if it’s cheesy like this one. I give plus points to my first slice for its hotness.
The dough of this flavor, Extra Feast (Php 315 for 9-inch, Php 435 for 12-inch, Php 555 for 14-inch) was soft and easy to chew. The toppings included pepperoni, ham, beef, chorizo, onion, mushroom, green pepper and mozzarella cheese. For those who can’t decide what kind of flavor to get, this could be the best choice. All of the ingredients are present in a box of pizza.
Angel’s Style (Php 315 for 9-inch, Php 435 for 12-inch, Php 555 for 14-inch) fired up with a bbq vibe because of its bbq chicken chunks and bbq sauce, mixed with mushrooms, onions and of course, cheese. So far, one of my favorites at that time because I was really craving for bbq sauce earlier that day. Tasted sweet and I preferred it that way.
Cheesy Burger Pizza (Php 305 for 9-inch, Php 425 for 12-inch, Php 515 for 14-inch) for the burger lovers out there. Beef plus bacon, something my sister Reine would appreciate. I really thought of her when I had a slice of Cheesy Burger on my plate. Like other people, she’s a bacon fan. On the other hand, I try to lean on the healthier side and tell her to avoid eating bacon because of the unhealthy fats and oil from it. With this pizza, it would just satisfy your bacon craving since there are only slices and bits of it. The amount of bacon is good enough, healthily speaking. 🙂
Other than the pizzas, Angel’s also offers combo meals like these rice meals for as low as Php 95 only:
Chicken Parmigiana
Chicken with Creamy Sauce
Chicken Teriyaki

Rushed to Angel’s after work with this office girl outfit.
Gift from OpenRice.com 🙂 Thank you guys for inviting me! Next month again. Haha!
It was a pizza fiesta at Angel’s, which I seriously enjoyed. If I crave for pizza again, I would certainly call Angel’s. Besides, the number is so easy to memorize. Just DIAL 922-2222. Simple right? 🙂
